About Me

I'm a professional ballet dancer and student at Southern Methodist University studying dance and philosophy. I have studied many different forms of dance but I specialize in classical and contemporary ballet and partnering. I trained from the age of four in ballet, but since then I have added many different forms to my training. My training started in my hometown Madison, WI, but most of my growth happened at Interlochen Arts Academy, where I trained in high school. Over my career I have performed an extensive  repertoire of masterworks including Paul Taylor's Company B, Agnes De Mille's Rodeo, Dwight Rhoden's Stellar Matter, Robert Battle's Battlefield, and José Limón's A Choreographic Offering. Additionally, I have performed soloist and principle roles in The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, and Le Corsair. By performing these works I have developed my technique and artistry to further my work both as a teacher and a freelance artist. I believe that dance as an art form can reach out and touch on ideas that cannot be expressed in words.
